Manchester City forward Leroy Sane is still at the top of Bayern Munich's transfer wishlist this summer, according to a report.
The German champions are in the market for a new winger following the departures of long-serving duo Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, and members of the club's hierarchy made no secret of their interest in Sane during the opening weeks of the current transfer window.
City's £80m asking price was branded "insane" by Bayern, but Sky in Germany claims that Sane remains their number one target.
Bayern are hopeful that the lure of more regular first-team football will help to prise the 23-year-old away from the Etihad Stadium after he made just 21 Premier League starts last season, losing his place in the team to Bernardo Silva.
However, Sane is reportedly leaning towards staying at Man City as he has reservations about returning to Germany having left Schalke three years ago.
Bayern are yet to make an official approach for the German international and do not plan to do so unless Sane offers an indication that he would be open to a move.
The Munich outfit are delaying other transfer business until the situation becomes clearer, but the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner are understood to have been mooted as possible alternatives to Sane.
