Manchester City and Barcelona are both reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
The Uruguay international joined Juve from Boca Juniors in 2017 and has made 76 appearances for the Italian giants in all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists in the process.
The 22-year-old has been heavily involved for Maurizio Sarri's side in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, although he has only completed the 90 minutes on one occasion in Serie A this term.
According to Corriere dello Sport, both City and Barca are admirers of the midfielder, who could be allowed to leave Turin in 2020 due to the options that Sarri can call upon in the middle of the park.
Barca are said to be in the market for a new midfielder amid the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic, while City will lose David Silva at the end of the season.
Bentancur only signed a new long-term deal with Juve over the summer, meaning that the South American is now contracted to the Italian champions until June 2024.
