Bidding to end a miserable two-game losing sequence, Arsenal headline this weekend's Premier League action against London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Mikel Arteta's men have succumbed to 1-0 defeats to Inter Milan and Newcastle United over the past week, falling to a Hakan Calhanoglu penalty against the former in Wednesday's Champions League clash.
The St James' Park setback also left the under-performing Gunners outside the top four in the Premier League table, seven points worse off than leaders Liverpool with 10 games gone.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Blues, who are above Arteta's side in the standings on goal difference.
Kai Havertz
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Head
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Chelsea)
Kai Havertz was involved in a nasty clash of heads with Inter's Yann Bisseck on Wednesday evening, which left him with blood pouring down his shirt, but Arteta is hopeful that his problem is just a cut rather than a concussion and he will be fine to face his old team on Sunday.
Riccardo Calafiori
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 26 (vs. Sporting Lisbon)
Riccardo Calafiori hurt his knee in October's Champions League triumph over Shakhtar Donetsk, and the Italy international will not be back in action until after this month's international break.
Declan Rice
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Chelsea)
Declan Rice missed the midweek trip to Milan on account of a foot injury, and having not trained with the team before Friday, he remains a huge doubt for the meeting with the Blues.
Takehiro Tomiyasu
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Nottingham Forest)
Takehiro Tomiyasu only just battled back from a pre-season knee injury before suffering a setback on his first appearance of the campaign, and Arteta has conceded that the Japan international will not return before the international break.
Kieran Tierney
Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Nottingham Forest)
Likewise, Kieran Tierney has no chance of featuring at Stamford Bridge due to the hamstring injury he picked up all the way back at Euro 2024, but a return before the end of the month has not been ruled out.
Mikel Merino
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Chelsea)
Mikel Merino came off at half time in the loss to Inter after taking a whack to the head from Yann Sommer, although Arteta revealed that he was feeling rough before the game anyway, so he will need assessing ahead of this one.
ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST
Arsenal have no players banned for this match, but on-loan Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling cannot face his parent club.
