Manchester City have reportedly denied that they have any interest in selling Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich.
As a result of the Germany international having just two years left on his contract, Bayern have been looking for a way to sign the 23-year-old as they endeavour to replace Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
There has also been a suggestion that Bayern would be prepared to include the versatile David Alaba in part-exchange, leading City to provide their own take on the situation.
The Mirror quotes a club source as saying: "We are not in negotiations with Bayern over Sane. We are talking to him about a new contract and not looking to sell.
"We have also had no offer of Alaba. That is totally spurious and we are well stocked at left-back."
Sane has scored 39 goals from 133 appearances in all competitions during his three-year stay at City.
