Manchester City have reportedly identified Burnley attacker Dwight McNeil as a potential replacement for Leroy Sane, who will not be signing a new deal at the Etihad Stadium.
Sane is widely expected to join Bayern Munich during this summer's transfer window, which is likely to see the Citizens enter the market for a replacement.
According to ESPN, City boss Pep Guardiola has earmarked McNeil as a potential arrival, having been impressed with the attacker's performances for Burnley over the last couple of seasons.
The 20-year-old, who was released by Manchester United during his youth career, has scored twice and provided six assists in 31 Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
The England Under-21 international has five goals and 11 assists in 60 appearances for the Clarets overall, meanwhile, and is contracted to Sean Dyche's side until June 2023.
City's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Thursday night handed Liverpool the Premier League title.
