Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Cagliari Calcio defender Davide Astori.
The 27-year-old has been linked to a number of clubs this summer, with Leeds United believed to have made an offer for his services.
According to the Daily Star, City have made enquiries regarding Astori's availability as they look to bolster their defence.
Astori has won seven caps for the Italian national side.
