Manchester City are reportedly willing to let Leroy Sane join Bayern Munich this summer if the winger turns down a new contract.
Sane, who has scored 39 goals in 134 appearances for Pep Guardiola's men since arriving from Schalke 04 in 2016, is soon to enter the final year of his existing deal.
The Germany international is recovering from a long-term knee injury and has played just once for City - last August's Community Shield win over Liverpool - since a move to Bayern collapsed nine months ago.
Sane remains a target for the Bavarian giants, but it has been suggested that they are only willing to go as high as £35m with their next offer.
According to the Evening Standard, City officials have no intention of selling Sane on the cheap, but they are willing to negotiate with Bayern should it become clear that the player wants to leave.
Speaking earlier this month, former Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes suggested that the club should look elsewhere for a new attacking player.
