Manchester City will reportedly move for Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski if Raheem Sterling leaves the club.
The England international continues to struggle for starts under Pep Guardiola, who recently admitted that he could not guarantee game time for the winger.
As a result, Sterling has revealed that he is open to a move away from the Etihad, with Barcelona and Arsenal both linked with a swoop for the ex-Liverpool man.
Man City could have been handed a boost in their pursuit of a replacement for Sterling, with Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi reportedly telling Bild that the Etihad is a "possible destination" for Lewandowski.
The Poland international's existing deal with the Bavarians is due to expire in 2023, and he is said to be open to challenging himself in another league after spending 11 years in the Bundesliga.
Lewandowski already boasts 13 goals from 10 games in all tournaments this term, taking his total for Bayern to 307 goals in 339 appearances since arriving in 2014. body check tags ::
