Manchester City are lining up a move for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo, according to reports.
The Spanish international has been linked with a move away from the cash-strapped La Liga outfit, with Atletico Madrid supposedly keen on making him their replacement for Radamel Falcao.
However, having already snapped up teammate Jesus Navas, City are also eyeing up a move for the 27-year-old, who scored 25 goals for Sevilla last season.
Having lost Mario Balotelli to AC Milan in January and Carlos Tevez to Juventus last week, new manager Manuel Pellegrini is eager to add some more firepower to bolster his attacking line.
Reports claim that City are readying a £24m bid for Negredo.
