Manchester City are reportedly weighing up the possibility of signing Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar during this summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Les Gones during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring nine times and registering seven assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
According to RMC Sport, City were unsuccessful in their attempts to sign the midfielder last summer but are now lining up another move ahead of the 2020-21 season.
The report, though, claims that the reigning Premier League champions are likely to face competition from both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
Lyon would be in a strong position when it comes to potential negotiations as the former France Under-21 international has a contract at Groupama Stadium until June 2023.
However, Aouar could potentially be a cheaper alternative to Napoli's Fabian Ruiz.
