Manchester City have reportedly told Eliaquim Mangala that he can leave the club on a free transfer this summer after the defender was not included in their pre-season tour of Asia.
The Frenchman was signed by City for £42m back in 2014 - a world-record transfer fee for a defender at the time - but failed to make an impact at the Etihad.
Mangala, largely shunned by Pep Guardiola since he arrived in 2016, has spent loan spells at Valencia and then Everton.
According to the Daily Mail, Mangala has been told he can leave on a free transfer despite signing a contract extension with the club four months ago.
The 28-year-old reported to pre-season training in Manchester last week but has not been selected for the club's tour of Asia.
Mangala has attracted attention from clubs in Turkey and Portugal, with Porto reportedly expressing their interest in the defender earlier in the window.
