Spain winger Jesus Navas has insisted that he has made the right decision to sign for Manchester City from Sevilla.
The Spanish club announced yesterday that they have agreed a reported £23m fee with City for the winger, who is subject to a medical.
Navas is expected to be incoming manager Manuel Pellegrini's first signing, with Malaga star Isco tipped to join him at the Etihad Stadium.
"I'm so happy to be joining Manchester City," the Daily Mail quotes Navas as saying. "It's a good opportunity and I think both sides are happy. I took the decision to go to City four months ago.
"I still haven't spoken to Manuel Pellegrini but he is a coach that I know. I don't know if Isco will come too. We'll have to see. The Premier League is very fast and I'm very excited because Manchester City are putting a very good team together."
Navas also revealed that he will try to learn English quickly when he arrives at the North West club.
