Chilean midfielder David Pizarro has left Roma to sign for Serie A rivals Fiorentina.
The 32-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Manchester City, helping the club win the Premier League title.
Pizarro will play under former teammate Vincenzo Montella, who is the new manager of La Viola.
Montella has now made five signings this summer as he looks to rebuild the club following the loss of captain Riccardo Montolivio to AC Milan.
Pizarro will be joined in midfield at Fiorentina by former Liverpool man Alberto Aquilani, who moved back to Serie A permanently last week.
