Real Madrid are reportedly considering making an offer for Manchester City attacker Riyad Mahrez.
The 29-year-old enjoyed a productive 2019-20 campaign for City, scoring 13 times and providing 16 assists in all competitions, while he has played close to 100 times for the club since arriving in 2018.
Mahrez still has three years left to run on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but according to Foot Mercato, Madrid are weighing up the possibility of a bid.
The report claims that the Spanish giants have already made contact with Mahrez's representatives, although any deal would rely on Gareth Bale leaving the club.
The Wales international continues to be linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, but it remains to be seen whether he secures an exit before the end of the summer transfer window.
Zinedine Zidane's side have not made a single signing this summer, with the coronavirus pandemic having a huge impact on the club's finances.
