Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign highly-rated Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
The versatile 19-year-old, who can play at centre-back or in a holding midfield role, has flourished when selected for a struggling Los Blancos side this season.
Several of Europe's elite clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, are rumoured to be monitoring the teenage Frenchman.
According to The Express, City are also tracking Varane as a potential replacement for Joleon Lescott, who seems likely to leave Eastlands in the summer.
Varane has made 14 appearances for Madrid under Jose Mourinho this campaign.
