Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola reportedly wants to bring Bayern Munich defender Juan Bernat to the Etihad.
The 23-year-old joined Bayern from Valencia in the summer of 2014, with Guardiola playing a key part in the transfer.
The Spanish coach is believed to be interested in signing at least one full-back in January due to the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna, who are both out of contract at the end of the season.
According to The Sun, Guardiola is an admirer of Benat's versatility and will launch a £20m move for the full-back when the winter transfer window opens at the start of 2017.
Bernat has scored once in 49 appearances for the German champions.
