Inter Milan are reportedly preparing to hand teenage goalkeeper Ionut Radu a new long-term contract.
The 19-year-old, who made his Serie A debut for the Italian outfit in the final game of last season, will see his current deal with Inter expire at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
Manchester City are said to be monitoring developments with the Romanian, but according to Gazzamercato, Inter hope to ward off the interest by offering Radu a new four-year deal at San Siro.
Inter currently sit 15th in the Serie A table on one point after two matches of the new season. They will return to action with a trip to Pescara on September 11.
