Premier League leaders Manchester City are weighing up a January move for experienced Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini, according to a report.
The Citizens are in the market for a new centre-back and have already been linked with the likes of Jonny Evans and Harry Maguire.
City manager Pep Guardiola is prepared to look further afield, though, as Italian outlet Tuttosport suggests that Chiellini is now among his targets.
Long-serving Juve defender Chiellini, a rumoured option for Chelsea last summer, is due to see his contract expire at the Allianz Stadium at the end of the campaign.
The report claims that Guardiola is tempted to make a move this month, with cover needed for injured captain Vincent Kompany, while John Stones is also working his way back to full fitness.
