Manchester City have entered the running to sign Swansea City starlet Daniel James, according to a report.
The 21-year-old has risen to prominence this season with his performances for Swansea in the second tier, playing a direct part in 11 of his side's goals.
James's form saw him rewarded with a first cap for the Wales senior side in November, which he followed up with a winning strike on his home debut against Slovakia last month.
Leeds United tried to snap up the youngster in a £10m deal in January, but their failure to get a deal over the line leaves the door open for a Premier League switch.
The Sun suggests that Man City are planning to move for the ex-Shrewsbury Town loanee, before loaning him out to partner club Girona in La Liga for a season.
City have previously sent Aleix Garcia and Pablo Maffeo to gain experience at Girona, who are currently in the La Liga relegation zone.
