Lionel Messi has reportedly been informed that he could earn a salary of £20m per year if he were to make the move to Manchester City.
The Argentine has spent the entirety of his professional career with Barcelona and has broken a whole host of records with the Spanish giants.
Talk of a move to Man City continues to grow, however, and it has been claimed that the 28-year-old's head could be turned by a substantial offer.
According to Sport, Messi has been made aware that he could earn £20m a year if he made the move to Manchester, which would eclipse the £15m per year that he currently earns at Barcelona.
Man City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, who is an international teammate of Messi, claimed last week that his club have the "massive economic power" needed to entice the Argentina international to the Etihad.
