Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph has been made the subject of a £12m bid by Stoke City, according to a report.
The Citizens are understood to be keen to offload the England international this summer after seeing his time at the Etihad Stadium curtailed by niggling injury issues.
It is claimed by The Telegraph that Stoke boss Mark Hughes has made an official approach, meeting Man City's £12m valuation of the player with his offer.
Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion are also said to be interested in the 27-year-old, meanwhile, but they have yet to open dialogue with either player or club, which has allowed Stoke to jump to the front of the queue.
Should Delph join the Potters he will become their third signing of the summer, following the earlier arrivals of Darren Fletcher and Josh Tymon from West Bromwich and Hull City respectively.
