Olarenwaju Kayode has left Manchester City to sign a long-term contract with Shakhtar Donetsk.
Kayode has never been in the first team at the Etihad Stadium, instead spending time at Girona before penning a second loan deal at Shakhtar in January.
The 25-year-old went on to contribute two goals from nine outings for the Ukrainian giants and now terms have been agreed for the Nigerian to move to the club on a permanent basis.
On Twitter, Shakhtar announced: "FC Shakhtar have bought on permanent transfer Olarenwaju Kayode from Manchester City and the striker has signed a five-year contract."
Kayode had previously been at Austria Vienna, where he netted 24 times in 48 appearances during the 2016-17 campaign.
