Velez Sarsfield starlet Thiago Almada has seemingly dropped a major hint that he still wants to move to Manchester City.
The 18-year-old midfielder, dubbed by many in South America as the 'new Messi', was believed to be close to joining Pep Guardiola's men in the summer, only for him to sign a new contract with the Buenos Aires club.
Almada's new four-year deal with Velez put his release clause up to £21m, with Spanish side Atletico Madrid also believed to be interested in bringing him to Europe.
However, the youngster seemingly made clear that his ideal destination would be City, telling radio station La Red that when he plays football games on the PlayStation, he always chooses the Manchester club.
Almada, who is from the same town in Argentina as former City striker Carlos Tevez, has scored two goals in eight games for Gabriel Heinze's Velez this season.
