West Ham United are reportedly weighing up a move for Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott after failing to finalise a deal for Everton centre-back Johnny Heitinga.
Reports on Thursday suggested that City manager Manuel Pellegrini will allow Lescott to leave the Etihad Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
According to SportsDirect News, West Ham could make a move for the 31-year-old following injuries to defenders James Tomkins, Winston Reid and James Collins.
Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Besiktas are also thought to be monitoring Lescott's situation.
