Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero is confident that Argentina can win the World Cup this summer.

Argentina forward Sergio Aguero is confident that his country can win the World Cup this summer.

However, the Manchester City attacker has conceded that "World Cups are always difficult" and picked out Spain, Brazil and Germany as their main challengers in the tournament.

"World Cups are always difficult, but of course I hope that Argentina will win. Of course I am confident that Argentina can win," he said in an interview to mark the launch of PUMA Tricks.

"Spain, Brazil and Germany are also pretty strong. They're all good teams, but games are there to be won. I don't believe Argentina have an easy group. At the World Cup there are no easy games."

Aguero struggled with injury during the 2013-14 season, but is reportedly close to full fitness.
