England manager Gareth Southgate has reportedly considered leaving Joe Hart out of his squad for this summer's World Cup.
The 30-year-old has seen his stock tumble in recent seasons, being frozen out at parent club Manchester City and enduring tricky tenures at loan clubs Torino and West Ham United.
Hart has spent a significant period out of the West Ham starting lineup and that has led to the stopper being relegated to the bench with the Three Lions.
According to The Mirror, Southgate is leaning towards either Everton's Jordan Pickford or Stoke City's Jack Butland as his number one choice for Russia 2018.
In addition, Burnley duo Tom Heaton and Nick Pope are also being considered as third choice behind Pickford and Butland, leaving Hart surplus to requirements.
The deadline to finalise World Cup squads is June 4 but Southgate will reportedly name his contingent well before then.
