Yaya Toure has been receiving treatment for an unspecified minor injury ahead of this summer's World Cup.
The Manchester City midfielder is part of the Ivory Coast's 28-man squad for the Brazil tournament and had been due to fly out to the United States for their training camp, which gets underway on Thursday.
According to the Daily Mail, the Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Qatar confirmed that it was treating the African Footballer of the Year for a "minor injury", but did not give further details about the knock.
The Ivorian Football Federation confirmed that Toure, who has been the subject of transfer speculation this week, will fly to Dallas on Thursday to join up with the rest of the squad.
