Marouane Fellaini hailed the importance of a third goal as Manchester United wrapped up a 3-1 win over Club Brugge in their Champions League qualifier on Tuesday evening.
Memphis Depay struck a first-half brace before curling in a cross for Fellaini to net the third with virtually the last kick of the game, and the Belgium international believes that the final goal could be crucial in the tie.
"I think it was important to score a third goal and we did so it was a fantastic win for us today," the Belgian told BT Sport after the game.
"We have to be careful in Brugge, and it won't be easy but we have the quality to win the game. The most important thing today is the win.
"We have the quality to win again, but we have to be ready."
