Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has refused to be downbeat following Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to CFR Cluj in the Champions League.
United, who had already qualified for the last 16 of the competition, went down to the Portuguese side at Old Trafford courtesy of Luis Alberto's spectacular 25-yard strike just before the hour.
"It was a wonder goal that beat us," Ferguson told Sky Sports News. "We didn't deserve that, we created some good chances but when you lose a goal like that you can have no complaints.
"We had a young side out and I felt we did very well at times. The pitch was a bit dead from the frost but I am satisfied we put a good performance in."
United's defeat was their first at home in the Champions League since November 2009.
