Pep Guardiola expects that Manchester United will sit back and attempt to hit Bayern Munich on the break in their Champions League quarter-final second leg.
Following a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture last week, United need to score at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday to stand any chance of progressing.
However, Guardiola still anticipates a cautious approach from the Red Devils, claiming that they will keep men behind the ball in a bid to frustrate Bayern, and then try to snatch a crucial away goal from a counter-attack or set piece.
"Obviously when they play at home they attack a little bit more, but when they play away they think to defend, to defend and wait to counter," he told reporters at a Tuesday press conference.
"Maybe I am wrong, maybe David Moyes think another thing, but I think they are going to wait back, eight, nine players in the box and wait for our mistake, wait for a free kick or a corner."
Moyes has revealed that United striker Wayne Rooney, who missed the 4-0 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday with a bruised toe, could take a pain-killing injection to feature in Germany.
