Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has called for a 'balanced' performance from his side as they prepare to face CSKA Moscow without three central midfielders.
Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba are all missing for the Premier League team as they attempt to record their second successive victory in the Champions League group stages.
CSKA only sit in fourth spot in the Russian Premier League standings, but Mourinho has suggested that only a solid team display will be enough to claim a positive result on their travels.
The 54-year-old told reporters: "We don't have Fellaini, Pogba or Carrick, so all three midfield players we lose for this match, so the solutions are not many.
"But we try not to focus on individual battles on the pitch, we are going to have a team with quality and balance to try to win the match, which is the objective."
United began their European campaign with a 3-0 triumph over Basel on Matchday One.
