Captain Nemanja Vidic will play no part for Manchester United against Cluj tomorrow night.
The Serbian defender had been expected to start against the Romanians at Old Trafford following his return to training after a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
However, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that the centre-back does not feel completely ready to make a return.
"He feels he needs another few days' training so he won't be available. He's not far away," said Ferguson.
Ferguson also ruled out any possibility of Vidic starting the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon.
