Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has admitted that he is "nervous" ahead of the Premier League club's last-16 Champions League tie with Real Madrid this evening.
United travel to Spain for the first leg on Wednesday, but the Dutchman has backed former teammate Wayne Rooney to get among the goals at the Bernabeu.
"First time in 2 years into retirement I start to feel nervous and excited about a game in CL! WayneRooney to score tonight?" he tweeted.
The 42-year-old made 266 appearances for United after joining from Fulham in 2005.
