Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has admitted that he was lucky not give away a penalty during Wednesday's Champions League win over Galatasaray.
The defender took down Umut Bulut inside the area with just 30 seconds on the clock at Old Trafford, but referee Wolfgang Stark waved away the Turkish appeals.
"I think maybe I made a penalty," said the Serbian. "It was a difficult situation for the referee, it was difficult for him to see it. I think we should have had maybe one penalty, but overall we deserved to win."
Vidic will be expected to start for United when they travel to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
