Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck has insisted that his side can take heart from earning a point against Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine tonight.
Welbeck broke the deadlock after 18 minutes with a finish from close range, but Shakhtar fought back to level through Taison late on, with the match finishing a 1-1 draw.
The England international has admitted that United were disappointed not to go on and claim all three points after leading for most of the match, but thinks that a draw still represents a positive result.
He told Sky Sports News: "In the end it was a decent result. We got the goal early.
"They then got a goal and that's the disappointing part. I don't think many teams come here and get three points, but we would have liked to have got three points."
The 22-year-old has now scored six goals for club and country this season in all competitions, with three of those coming for United.
