Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has insisted that Manchester United's Paul Scholes should travel with England for Euro 2012 this summer.
England have been rocked by the recent news that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will not make the tournament, but Parlour believes that Scholes could be the man to steady the England midfield.
"Paul Scholes has been different class since he has come back. He has really helped Michael Carrick out in that midfield area. I think he has improved since Paul Scholes has come back," Parlour told talkSPORT.
"Paul Scholes will definitely have a chance, if he wants to. It's down to Paul Scholes if he wants to play or not."
England kick off their Euro 2012 campaign against France on June 11.
