Ajax boss Peter Bosz has hit out at Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for complaining about his team's congested fixture schedule.
The Red Devils will take on Southampton this evening before finishing off the Premier League season with a match against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Three days later, the North-West outfit will contest for the Europa League trophy in Stockholm against Ajax, who will have more than a week's preparation having finished their season on May 14.
Despite the fact that United will have played eight more games than their Dutch opponents this season, Bosz has claimed that Mourinho has nothing to complain about.
"If I only look at his lineups and team formations all season, then he is playing with almost two different teams - one team for the Europa League and one for the Premier League," Sky Sports News quotes Bosz as saying.
"If those boys, which he is using for his European games, are not playing at the weekend in the Premier League, they have as much rest and exactly the same preparation time as my players - and look at the amount of players he has available to rotate."
United's only hope of sealing a spot in next season's Champions League is if they win the Europa final, as they cannot finish above sixth place in the Premier League.
