Ander Herrera and Daley Blind will both miss Manchester United's Europa League clash with Liverpool on Thursday night.
The duo were expected to start the second leg of the last-16 clash at Old Trafford, with Herrera sitting alongside head coach Louis van Gaal at his official pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Neither Herrera nor Blind were part of the 18-man squad that arrived at The Lowry Hotel, however, and it is currently unclear whether the pair are injured or have been rested.
Antonio Valencia and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson both make it though, in addition to 17-year-old RoShaun Williams, who made the squad against West Ham United at the weekend.
Man United currently trail 2-0 from the first leg at Anfield last week.
Full squad:
De Gea, Romero; Valencia, Darmian, Varela, Smalling, Williams, Borthwick-Jackson, Rojo; Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Fellaini, Carrick, Lingard, Mata, Memphis; Martial, Rashford
