Juan Mata has claimed that Manchester United's Europa League victory over Zorya Luhansk was crucial and could kickstart the club's season.
The Red Devils had stuttered in the first half of September, losing three games in a row to Manchester City, Feyenoord and Watford respectively.
However, Jose Mourinho's charges are back to winning ways after beating Northampton Town in the EFL Cup, Leicester City in the Premier League and Zorya in Europe.
Speaking after United's victory over the Ukrainian side, Mata told Sky Sports News: "This was a key win. After losing in Holland we needed to win here and now we can look forward to Sunday's match.
"After the bad week we knew that we had three games at Old Trafford. We have won two of them and obviously we are really, really focused on winning the last one before the international break."
