Memphis Depay was reportedly left fuming after he was dropped from Manchester United's FA Cup final squad by manager Louis van Gaal.
It emerged on Friday that the Netherlands international did not travel with the rest of the squad to London for the showdown against Crystal Palace at Wembley.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact at Old Trafford following his £25m move from PSV Eindhoven last summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Depay reacted angrily when told after training on Thursday that he would not be part of the matchday squad, but he did make his way to London separately on Friday and is expected to attend the final.
The report suggests that the snub could affect Depay's future at United as the winger was already planning to have talks with Van Gaal over his failure to hold down a starting spot.
Young defenders Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Timothy Fosu-Mensah have also reportedly been left out of the squad.
The FA Cup final will kick off at 5.30pm.
