Fulham boss Martin Jol insists that the Premier League is the priority for his side ahead of their FA Cup fourth-round match against Manchester United.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has insisted that Premier League survival remains his priority ahead of their FA Cup fourth-round clash with Manchester United on Saturday.

Fulham are on the verge of becoming embroiled in a relegation battle after a run of just two league wins in their last 15 matches saw them drop to within six points of the bottom three.

However, Jol claims that he doesn't have the resources to rotate his squad and so will not name a weakened side for the FA Cup tie. The former Tottenham Hotspur boss did, however, say that he was looking into potential signings in order to strengthen his squad.

"The league is the priority but we can't play different teams. You won't see the priorities in my decision-making on the teams because we still play the same team - there is not a lot of difference," said Jol.

"I've said a couple of times, and it is such a cliché, that we would like to strengthen the squad because we lack a few players.

"When I would like to rest players, there are some positions where I have to play the same players all the time so, of course, if we can strengthen the squad, we will do it."

Fulham are currently 14th in the Premier League table.
