Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has claimed that he was "satisfied" with his team's 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday.
The Red Devils entered the match off the back of two successive defeats, but goals from Chris Smalling, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the cup.
Van Gaal has admitted that his team "needed some luck", before revealing that he is now focusing on Thursday's Europa League last-32 second leg against FC Midtjylland.
"I am satisfied. I am feeling well before the match as well," Van Gaal told BT Sport. "It is true we needed some luck.
"It is our chance to qualify ourselves [on Thursday] and that is why it is so important. Day-by-day, always in sport, you can win and lose."
Man United will meet West Ham United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup next month.
