Preston North End midfielder John Welsh has insisted that he and his teammates are more than capable of causing a shock in tonight's FA Cup fifth-round clash against Manchester United.
Louis van Gaal's side were forced into a replay by League Two's Cambridge United in the fourth round and there have been a number of other cup upsets already this season.
Manchester City and Chelsea were among the Premier League sides who were dumped out of the contest by lower opposition last month.
For Welsh, he has admitted that it would be extra special to beat United at Deepdale as he is a lifelong Liverpool fan.
"Everyone knows of the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United, it's going to be a great game, I'm really looking forward to it," the Daily Star quotes Welsh as saying.
"I can't be held responsible for [what I do] if I score the winner, so if it's me that scores the winner in the 92nd minute then anything could happen.
"We believe it's a winnable game, any games winnable no matter who you're playing or who you're coming up against. We've seen Cambridge give them a game at home so it's definitely a winnable game."
The draw for the quarter-finals will take place this evening.
