Ashley Young has insisted that Manchester United are determined to end their barren spell in the FA Cup this season.
The Red Devils have won the competition on a record 11 occasions along with Arsenal, but their last triumph was back in 2004.
Ahead of tomorrow evening's fifth-round clash away at League One Preston North End, wing-back Young has revealed that there is a desire among the playing squad to end the club's wait for success in the competition.
"For a lot of the foreign players here they'll have watched the FA Cup on TV and seen how big the competition is. There are a lot of us who haven't won it and we want to change that," he told the club's official website.
United's last five meetings with Preston, none of which they have lost, have all come in the FA Cup.
