How Manchester United could line up against Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

Manchester United welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon with both sides looking for a win before the international break.

The Red Devils bounced back from their defeat to Bournemouth last weekend by beating Partizan Belgrade 3-0 on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are currently 10th in the table, two points and two places behind Graham Potter's Seagulls, who picked up their second consecutive league win last Saturday against Norwich City.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how United could line up for Sunday's showdown.

Out: Eric Bailly (knee), Paul Pogba (ankle), Axel Tuanzebe (hip), Nemanja Matic (unspecified), Luke Shaw (thigh), Diogo Dalot (groin), Angel Gomes (unspecified), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (knee), Ashley Young (suspension)
Doubtful: Victor Lindelof (back), Scott McTominay (ankle), Harry Maguire (knock)

Solskjaer's already-sizeable injury list seemed to grow in midweek, with Lindelof missing training with a lower back problem and both Maguire and McTominay picking up niggles in the game with Partizan.

The Swede looks set to miss out but summer signing Maguire is expected to have overcome his knock to start, with Marcos Rojo the obvious candidate to partner the England international.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is almost a certainty to start at right-back, while youngster Brand0n Williams is expected to deputise on the left with Young suspended after accumulating five bookings in the club's opening 11 league matches.

If McTominay overcomes his ankle problem he will presumably keep his place in midfield alongside Fred, but if he fails a fitness test, James Garner could well get the chance to impress.

Mason Greenwood added to his burgeoning reputation by scoring on Thursday night but he is expected to be consigned to the bench for Sunday's match, with Daniel James preferred on the right.

Marcus Rashford, who has five goals and three assists in the league for United this season, should continue on the left, while Anthony Martial's improved form will likely see him keep his place as the central striker.
