Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday.
Sports Mole

Seeking to avoid a third successive Premier League game without a win, Manchester United travel to Molineux to take on a resurgent Wolverhampton Wanderers outfit on Thursday night.

Two weeks after playing out a 2-2 home draw with Tottenham Hotspur, the Red Devils avoided an FA Cup scare when they beat League Two side Newport County 4-2 on the road last weekend.

Erik ten Hag's side are now gearing up from a run of five consecutive Premier League fixtures and will attempt to build positive momentum in their quest to climb from eighth position into the European places.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Gary O'Neil's side.

Marcus Rashford

Status: Minor doubt
Type of issue: Disciplinary
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Wolves)

Marcus Rashford reported ill for training last Friday shortly after he was allegedly seen at a nightclub in Belfast, and the forward subsequently missed Man United's win at Newport; the Englishman has subsequently emerged as a doubt for the midweek trip to Molineux.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Wolves)

Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed the win at Newport after sustaining an unspecified injury, and it remains to be seen if the right-back will be fit to return on Thursday.

Mason Mount

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 11 (vs. Aston Villa)

Mason Mount has been sidelined since November with a troublesome calf injury and the midfielder is not expected to return until the middle of next month at the earliest.

Anthony Martial

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Anthony Martial recently underwent groin surgery and Man United have confirmed that the forward will be sidelined for 10 more weeks.

Victor Lindelof

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: February 11 (vs. Aston Villa)

Victor Lindelof underwent a minor groin operation just before Christmas and the defender is believed to be targeting a return at some stage next month.

Tyrell Malacia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 24 (vs. Fulham)

Tyrell Malacia is yet to play for Man United this season due to a long-term knee injury, but it is understood that the left-back could be in a position to return towards the end of February.

Sofyan Amrabat

Status: Out
Reason for absence: International duty
Possible return date: Unknown

Sofyan Amrabat is still away on international duty with Morocco, who have reached the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.

MANCHESTER UNITED's SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester United have no suspended players for this match.
