Colombia manager Jose Pekerman has confirmed that Radamel Falcao should be fit for Manchester United's upcoming Premier League clash with Arsenal.
Pekerman, whose side earned a 2-1 victory over USA on Friday, has also stated that the striker's current injury is not a recurrence of the knee injury that kept the former Monaco man out of this summer's World Cup.
"There is no doubt he is in optimal condition," he told the Daily Mail. "He's recovered very successfully. He done everything perfectly.
"This is a small muscular injury, it is different to the knee injury before the World Cup. He's in a good condition and could be ready for Arsenal.
"He hasn't even started yet. He will be one of the best players Manchester United have had and will break a lot of records in England."
Falcao recently stepped up his training regime as he nears a return to full fitness.
