Everton manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Donny van de Beek will be in contention to feature against Leicester City today.
The 25-year-old is on loan with the Toffees until the end of this season from Manchester United, but he has missed the previous four games due to a hamstring problem.
Van de Beek picked up the issue in the warm-up for Everton's game against West Ham United, but the midfielder is now fit to feature once again.
"Donny is back in contention. He was not well for a period, had an injury pre-West Ham, then has had a baby girl last week, so it is nice to have him back in and nice for him to have his baby girl, and he is back in the squad," Lampard confirmed to the press.
The Dutchman has only managed to play six Premier League games for Everton since joining the club because of fitness issues.
Everton have the chance to increase their gap above the relegation zone to six points with a victory against the Foxes.
