Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that Michael Carrick will be fit in time to face Arsenal on Saturday.
The 34-year-old midfielder missed Wednesday's 2-1 win over Wolfsburg in the Champions League with a minor injury.
Carrick, who was named in the latest England squad by Roy Hodgson earlier, is now in contention to play at the Emirates Stadium.
"Carrick can play so I have a choice," the Dutchman told United's official website.
"I'm happy to say that there are no injuries from last night."
Carrick has played nine times in all competitions for United this season.
