Manchester United have received a boost on the injury front as Paul Pogba has made his return to team training ahead of this week's Champions League showdown with Istanbul Basaksehir.
The 27-year-old played no part in the Red Devils' 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirming that Pogba was not risked as he nursed a knock.
However, the World Cup-winning Frenchman is gearing up for a return to action and could be involved when United welcome Turkish outfit Basaksehir to Old Trafford on Tuesday.
Delivering an update to reporters at a press conference, Solskjaer said: "We hope he's [Pogba] going to be available. He trained this morning. See if there's any reaction when we report tomorrow.
"Still Luke Shaw is out, Phil Jones is out. Jesse [Lingard] is still self-isolating after being in contact with a positive (coronavirus) case.
"There's one or two little things we need to look at in the morning but hopefully everyone else is available."
United currently sit top of Champions League Group H - which includes 2019-20 semi-finalists RB Leipzig and finalists Paris Saint-Germain - and the Red Devils would take a giant stride towards the knockout stages with victory over Basaksehir on Tuesday.
However, the Turkish outfit scraped a memorable win over Solskjaer's men earlier this month as they ran out 2-1 winners on their own turf, with Demba Ba and Edin Visca scoring before Anthony Martial pulled one back for United.
